Activision Posts Annual Profit of $1.1 Billion

The publisher's net profit more than doubled year-over-year to $1.09 billion (£688.3m), while revenues grew seven percent to a record $4.76 billion (£3b), with digital sales representing 34 percent of the total. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was the top-selling title in dollars during 2011 and Call of Duty: Black Ops was the fifth best-selling, while CoD: Elite now has seven million registered users and 1.5 million subscribers.
