Google Moon
Posted on: 2005-07-20 15:28:35 Thanks Steve @ HardOCP For those of you who haven’t checked this out yet, head on over to Google moon and zoom in all the way to the surface of the moon. I don’t want to give anything away but the detail of the moon’s surface is phenomenal. In honor of the first manned Moon landing, which took place on July 20, 1969, we’ve added some NASA imagery to the Google Maps interface to help you pay your own visit to our celestial neighbor.
